River Ribble looking towards Lytham. Incoming tide attracts waders (sanderling) scuttling at the water’s edge searching for a tasty morsel. Downstream the eiders are back. Male, female and possibly x2 juveniles. As soon as they see a camera pointing at them they swim away!
