Your Coast Watchers Photos

Opposite AKS School near Fairhaven Lake. Scrubland, an ever-changing diverse habitat for butterflies, insects, wild flowers and a magnet for stonechats, reed buntings and, soon to arrive from Africa, whitethroat and wheatears. There’s often a kestrel hovering overhead. Ponds form after heavy rainfall and dry out in hot weather which must have an effect on insect larvae.
